I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award! I hope you will participate! https://secretsofayoungwife.wordpress.com/2015/05/17/liebster-award/
Have just read your banoffee experience. I too had a banoffee disaster not once but twice. The first time the toffee seeped out of the tin onto the fridge shelf and if you can believe into, the seals around the fridge door. A huge sticky mess. That was about 1991.
I didn’t dare to have another go until about a month ago. Now a mum, I thought I would have improved. Using a Mary Berry recipe, I started on my second attempt…..but same mess. Toffee just didn’t set. What did I do wrong?
Oh no! I wish I could help but I have not yet had a successful attempt! Maybe someone will see our comments and help us out with a recipe that actually works!!
Very interesting subject, thank you for posting.
more convenient if you list ingredients in us measure.
the US has not adopted the world standard t, and we can do conversions, but
having the conversion available makes recipe easier for us.
Thank you for your feedback, but I will be continuing to use the measurements that I am familiar and comfortable with as this is best for my recipes
